“The Amazing Adventures of Captain Wetpants” is a fun-oriented musical comedy with a serious underlying message. The show aims to teach children about the importance of recycling. With all sorts of different lovable puppets, we aim to highlight the environmental effects our litter can have on the animals. This is an interactive performance where the children are encouraged to sing along, shout out the answers and some are invited up on stage to help Captain Wetpants and his animal crew learn about the importance of recycling.

The New Year:

We will be working on a few main projects over the coming months. Firstly we will be working in collaboration with Army of Monkeys Productions on what promises to be quite a spectacular show, combining shadow puppetry with glove and table top puppetry as well as music, comedy and a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat.  The puppets who are currently being created and whose characters are already coming together are human, full body puppets with articulated joints. At the same time, Curly Ru Puppets are working on their own show which will involve many different types of puppets, but all of them animals, some sea dwelling, some from the rain forests of South America, but all with a sense of humor an important message about the conservation of our planet and how to protect animals just like them. We are also working on some Greek Mythological puppets, if you can imagine such a thing, for a future project. There is a lot of work to do. We will keep you posted folks!
